Where you can find Piper most nights before bed...
She learned this from Hero. I'm pretty sure the lesson went something like this: "When they start toward you, you gotta move quick. Get someplace where they have to come in to get you, and then look mean as all get out when they try for the reach. Growl. Bare your teeth. Nine times out of ten they'll just give up and leave you alone, and sometimes you even get bribed with a treat. Occasionally, if the situation warrants it, you might have to draw a little blood just to keep the fear factor alive...
And the first rule of Herodom - never, never, never ever let them steal your toys."

Four
That's how many words Piper can string together into sentences right now. "Mommy's at the table." "Daddy's shoes are on." "She's a gifted one."
Wait, the last one was mine.

P is for Pollock
Piper and the ABC's
She's actually much better at singing this song than this video showcases, but this particular clip just captures her unique Piper style :)
Walkin' on sunshine
Not last weekend but the one before, we had another series of near-perfect spring days. So naturally, we took to the trails.
Duck hunting is one of Piper's favorite activities. Turns out it's something she shares in common with Hero!
Neither of them seems to have extremely good luck with this. Turns out, that's also a commonality.

Fort
Another Hat
Piper sure loves her bucket of magnetic letters. It used to be that she loved to dump out the letters and practice naming them (which she does with astonishing accuracy). But now she loves to dump out the letters and promptly put the bucket on her head.
it just has to look good.
