Driving Miss Piper

 Every day when I pick her up from daycare, Piper always wants to stay in the garage and pretend to drive the car.  She's startling good at it - she must really be watching while we're at the wheel.  She knows she's supposed to use the gear shift...

And also knows she should adjust the temperature, and the radio, repeatedly.

Clever girl.

Footin' the bill

 "Don't worry about it guys, this one's on me."

 "Do you think they take Dora the Explorer cards here?  Or just AMEX?"

No more tears!

Haircut, sans tears.  Heidi, who is our Snip-It's hairstylist, was very impressed with our composure today.  Piper even gave her a high-five once the deed was done.

Bicycles!

"Are we going or what?"

"Thanks for the lift, Dad." 

 "Let's chow down!"

 Nothing beats a good picnic :)

Rainy Holiday Weekend

It's true - we were disappointed by Saturday's bleak forecast and equally bleak reality.  But... we made the most of the fact that the rain was pouring down and we were "stuck" inside :)

Morning at the Park

The weather is gorgeous here today!  So, first thing this morning, we packed up the gang and went to the park.  

After running around for a while and helping Mommy with the bumblebee-bouncy-thing, some snacks were in order.  

But snacks were only a brief pause in the high quality playing.

An equally high quality nap is just wrapping up now.
