May I introduce you to Piper 11.0? This version can pull herself up to standing.

Feed me, feed you

Piper's newest favorite dinnertime game it to feed daddy. Which is really very sweet. She gets a lot of smiles when she's offering him some under-seasoned vegetable or bland, plain chicken. Naturally, she has to put the food directly into his mouth, otherwise where's the fun?


And hey, it keeps us honest. If she wants good quality control this is one way to get it ;)

Piper at the pool

Piper had a very big adventure today. It was her first trip to the community center pool and play maze. A good time was had by all.



Piper was quite fearless in the water. She had a few moments of hesitation and trepidation, but we feel like she was remarkably brave.


We finished off our outing with some lunch at Panera and now Piper is sound asleep in her crib, well worn out :)

Long awaited

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day. We went to a lovely church service, had a nice brunch, and I got some sweet presents! But the most important thing, of course, was celebrating the chance I have to be a mom to such a wonderful baby girl, and to parent alongside my dedicated husband. It's an amazing gift - this family - and I cherish every minute.
